It seems a bit intimidating at first, but going on a medical missions trip does not require you to be a fully trained medical practitioner. There are several areas which you might serve in, besides the obvious clinical aspects of the trip.

  • Bible teachers for adults
  • Bible teachers for children
  • Dentists
  • Dental Helpers/ Flashlights Holders
  • Physicians
  • Nurses
  • Pharmacists
  • Help with eye glasses
  • Count and bag medications
  • Pack crates
  • Contribute money
  • Help team members raise money
  • Pray for mission and team members
  • Write notes of encouragement
  • Prepare Children's Bible materials

Here is a detailed description of just three of the above areas
