Dear Friends,
Thanks to the Lord working through each of you 2004
was a great year for Olive Branch Ministries.
• We completed 4 medical mission trips.
• We attended to an average of 3,000 people at
each clinic.
• Two churches were started.
• Members were added to already established churches.
In addition to our medical mission trips several new
opportunities are available in 2005.
Our first opportunity is the Hogar Sagrada Familia
orphanage located on the outskirts of Lima, Peru.
• The orphanage receives no government or church
support.
• We have been invited to come and teach the children
about the Bible.
• Approximately 250 children call this orphanage
their home.
Scott, Lori Johnson (one of our board members) and
Loli Reyna are flying to Lima today. They will be purchasing
items for the orphanage with money many of you have
contributed. A VBS at the orphanage is being planned
for this summer. You will be hearing more from us about
this orphanage as we strive to follow the Lord’s
leading in serving and teaching these children.
Our second opportunity is Benny and Donna Baker and
their ministry in Nicaragua, Mision Para Cristo, which
we have added under the Olive Branch Ministries umbrella.
We believe the Lord is joining us together to make each
of our ministries stronger. Pray for us as we strive
to figure out how to make this “marriage”
work and bring glory to the Lord. Please go to our website
to learn more about Mision Para Cristo.
There are so many things I want to share with you that
can’t be communicated in a short letter. Our website
has just received a makeover. We are working hard to
keep it informative and up to date. Please take a minute
every few weeks to check on what we are doing at www.olivebranchministries.org
As our ministry opportunities expand so does our need
for financial donations. To those of you who have recently
donated thank you!! If you have not had the opportunity
to donate, any size gift you can give will be a blessing.
We would love to hear from you if you have questions
about what we are doing. Please continue to pray for
us as nothing is accomplished in this ministry without
prayer.
Love and Blessings,
